Description

The space to be renovated is approximately 3,800 SF located on the main floor of the Founders Hall Building on Southwestern Community College's campus located in Sylva, NC to accommodate the needs of SCC's new Dental Assistant program.  The space is currently being utilized as computer labs and will be renovated to accommodate thirteen (13) dental stations, six (6) X-ray rooms, a screening room, laundry room, reception area, business office, single private office, shared office, sterilization area, imaging alcove, and storage space.  The dental chairs and cabinets are not part of the construction costs covered in this 3-1, as they will be ordered through Henry Schein, who has the state contract for dental supplies and equipment.
