Description

The Town of Burnsville is seeking statements of qualifications from firms capable of providing engineering, planning, and construction management services for the purposes of evaluating damages, cost estimating, designing, permitting, bidding, and administering construction of a project that would replace the Town’s raw water intake system. Including the block pump house, surface water intake and pumping system, and replacement of approximately 4300 linear feet of 8 inch ductile iron, raw water distribution pipe, that was destroyed by tropical storm Helene (NC 4827 DR) on September 27, 2024. 

The project includes: Evaluation of damages, development of a scope of work and estimate of costs for construction of a new raw water pump house, intake system and replacement of destroyed raw water pipe.
