Description

Pursuant to N.C.G.S 143-129, sealed single-prime Bids will be received by the Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as ONWASA) at the ONWASA offices at 228 Georgetown Rd, Jacksonville, North Carolina, 28540, until 2:00 p.m., April 23, 2024, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read, for constructing the following facilities:

Project: Summerhouse WWTP Interim Improvements

This project includes installing Owner-provided UV equipment, fine screens, MBR tanks, pumps, blowers, and related appurtenances. Provision and installation of Phase 1 items to include, but not limited to, dry pit EQ pumps, flow meters, UV canopy and monorail, slide gates, double-disc sludge pump, backflow preventer, water meter, valves, piping, related appurtenances, security cameras, sidewalks, concrete pads, asphalt pavement, grading, excavation, dewatering, electrical equipment and power lines, control and communications wires, air conditioning units, modifications to existing buildings, and exterior painting of the existing OPS/Admin building.

Bids must be submitted on a complete contract. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Onslow Water and Sewer Authority, 228 Georgetown Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540, and the outside of the envelope must be marked "Summerhouse WWTP Interim Improvements, Onslow County, North Carolina." If a Bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as above. Bids by FAX transmission or electronic submittal are unacceptable and will be rejected. Bids must be completed with forms included in the Bid documents. The name, address, and North Carolina Contractor's license number of the Bidder shall be plainly marked on the sealed envelope. NC Certified HUB Contractors are encouraged to submit bids for all bidding opportunities at ONWASA.
