Description

The New Sanford Agricultural Marketplace will be located at 157 Charlotte Avenue, Sanford, NC. The 
building will feature an 8,305 SF open-air covered area that will be used as a community farmers’ 
market and small music event space.  A 4,117 SF conditioned space includes a staff office; commercial 
kitchen with associated loading, dish, and storage areas; a demonstration kitchen; a flexible conference 
room; and associated support spaces.  The project is envisioned as a new regional hub that initiates the 
revitalization of Sanford’s eastern downtown while providing increased food access for the Sanford 
community.

The proposals should be left in the engineering department on the second floor. Immediately after the deadline the proposals will be 
publicly opened and read in the Western Conference Room within the Sanford Municipal Center for the 
construction of The Sanford Agricultural Marketplace.  Bids shall be marked “SEALED BID”, addressed to 
the attention of:
