Description

Orange County Schools is soliciting proposals for repaving of three middle school tracks over the summer session of 2026.  Project includes site demolition, and full track replacement of 2 existing running tracks and 1 mill and overlay of 1 running track. Work generally includes asphalt paving sidewalk, grading, erosion control and turf grass establishment. Provide as shown on plans and specs and include all work normal and necessary for such improvements. The general contractor is expected to have a responsible employee onsite whenever work is being performed.

A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for March 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Gravelly Hill Middle School, the project team will then visit Orange Middle School Track at 3:00 PM, and AL Stanback Middle School Track at 4:00 pm.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Orange County Schools at 200 East King Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 up to 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2026
