Description

Readvertisement: New Solicitation due date of July 19th, 2024.
The Town of Tabor City has received a Community Development Block Grant- Infrastructure (CDBG-I) award in the amount of $1,000,000 by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) for the rehabilitation of all four of the Town’s groundwater supply wells, including the replacement of all electrical components and a new SCADA system at all four wells, in addition to a new emergency standby generator at two wells. 
The Town of Tabor City is soliciting qualifications for professional engineering services to assist the Town in developing a final engineering report, and subsequent engineering design and bid package services and construction inspection services once release of funds is received.  All work for this project will be conducted to ensure compliance with all applicable federal requirements and regulations under the CDBG-I program.  Engineering payment terms will be negotiated with the selected firm. The fee for professional engineering services will be paid with CDBG funds.
