This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is used to establish a contract to provide safe, efficient, and professional bus transportation services, to include day routes, for the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf (ENCSD) in Wilson, and the Governor Morehead School (GMS) in Raleigh, operated by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Education Services for the Deaf and Blind, hereafter collectively referred to as "ESDB" or "The Schools". Services are based on the school calendar for August 1 through July 30 which is 218 days with a minimum of 180 days of instruction for students. Transportation days are determined by the school calendar.
