Description

The Project consists generally of the following major items:
• The Work consists of selective demolition of designated portions of the existing, offstage left and off-stage right sound walls within the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium to create a recess in each wall. The new recesses will be used to house new audio equipment (furnished under separate contract) which will be hung from the new structural steel beams installed on the existing downstage production support framing.
• The Work includes construction and finishing of new infill stud and gyp board framing to provide a backing and a base within the new recesses in the sound wall panels.
• The Work includes procurement, fabrication, and installation of new structural steel beams that will be used for support of the new audio equipment.
