Description

The City of Raleigh Fire Department (RFD) Fleet Maintenance Shop repairs and services 189 vehicles and specialized apparatus. These are performed on all City-owned fire department vehicles/apparatus. RFD requires testing services for fire engines and fire ladder apparatus with aerial ladders and ground ladders, to meet annual testing requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Codes and Standards.
