Description

Durham Public Schools wishes to purchase walk-in freezers and combination freezer/cooler units to replace
non-functional equipment and/or expand storage capacity for its school kitchen operations. Freezers must meet
all current federal and state regulations for coolants, parts, etc. Vendors may contact David Bell at 919-730-1230
to arrange a site visit in order to complete the proposal response.
Vendors are asked to include the following in their proposals for all schools:
● Indoor walk-in freezer or indoor walk-in freezer/cooler combination (see dimensions by school below)
● Installation cost
● Old unit removal cost
● Any required space upgrades (ventilation, etc.) - TBD by school site
