Description

The North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV) seeks proposals from experienced and 
innovative vendors that have successfully implemented a DMV Modernization Solution in order to 
eliminate dependence on legacy mainframe applications and limited technical resources to support 
them. The modernization project will move the NCDMV to a more practical platform which will reduce ongoing costs and provide lower risk core architecture to support future department needs. The 
department desires a proven solution that can be modified to meet the specific needs of the NCDMV, 
implemented by a vendor with experience in implementing Motor Vehicle systems of similar size and 
scope in other jurisdictions.
