Description

This is a re-bid for the project located at the Morehead City Port and is related to the demolition of ~4,600 linear feet of existing rail and 7 existing turnouts, the installation of ~1,900 track feet of improved rail section and 6 turnouts, the installation of a new tub crossing and the grading and earthwork to accommodate the rail improvements and proposed drainage improvements. There is an additive alternate for this contract that includes the demolition of ~1,900 linear feet of existing rail, the installation of ~950 track feet of improved rail section and the grading and earthwork to accommodate the rail improvements.
