Description

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T) is a public, historically Black, land-grant, doctoral university with high research activity. Located in Greensboro, N.C. A&T is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina System.

N.C. A&T was established by the North Carolina General Assembly on March 9, 1891, as the Agricultural and Mechanical College for the Colored Race, under the Second Morrill Act of 1890. Today, N.C. A&T is one of the top-ranking institutions in the UNC System for sponsored research funding. Its long, growing list of honors and rankings encompasses major strengths in STEM disciplines, a vibrant arts core and excellence in a range of applied research.

With an enrollment of nearly 13,487 students (fall 2022), N.C. A&T is the largest historically Black college or university (HBCU) in the United States, a position held since fall 2014. N.C. A&T produces more Black engineers and African American graduates in the U.S., and is a leading producer of African American kinesiology undergraduates, landscape architects, nurses, teachers and journalism/mass communication graduates. The University has 70,000 alumni of record.

N.C. A&T is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in all sports except women’s bowling, which participates in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Association (MEAC)

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is soliciting competitive proposals from vendors (“Agency”) having suitable qualifications and experience licensing trademarks of universities and operating a program in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements set forth in this RFP.
