Description

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (“NCDHHS” or “Department”), Division of Health Benefits (“DHB”), seeks to procure an experienced and qualified partner to meet the unique health care needs of children, youth and families served by the child welfare system. The Children and Families Specialty Plan (“CFSP”) will operate statewide, enabling Members to access a broad range of physical health and Behavioral Health services and maintain treatment plans when their geographic locations change. As the single entity accountable for the health care of these Members, CFSP will seek to mitigate disruptions in care and facilitate the goal of achieving the right care at the right time for all CFSP Members, in close coordination with County Departments of Social Services (County DSS) and other stakeholders involved in serving this population. The CFSP will be an integrated Medicaid Managed Care plan and is required to cover the services specified in this Request for Proposals (RFP) to address the spectrum of its Members’ needs, including those related to physical health, Behavioral Health, I/DD, LTSS, and pharmacy services and Unmet Health-Related Resource Needs. This RFP is comprised of four (4) parts: 01 CFSP RFP 30-2024-001  Sections I-IV (to Issue 02072024), 02 CFSP RFP 30-2024-001 Section V (to Issue 02072024), 03 CFSP RFP 30-2024-001 Sections VI-VIII (to Issue 02072024) and 04 CFSP RFP 30-2024-001 Section IX Offeror’s RFP Proposal and Response (to Issue 02072024).
