Description

PCC will be relocating our Cosmetology program to space available at our Greenville Center location.  Relocating in this facility empowers the Cosmetology program to operate in a space specifically tailored for them.  In addition, the college will be expanding our programs/services at the Greenville site campus to include High School Cosmetology, Nail Technician (manicuring), Esthetics, and Natural Hair Care.   With the cosmetology program being relocated into the main building, we will not be renovating the separate annex building.  It is estimated the Cosmetology and related programs encompassing about 66% of the main building, with the remaining building renovations being tailored for our Nurse Aid program and other Continuing Education programs.  The building is approximately 27,105 square feet with about 18,000 square feet being renovated.  layouts showing existing (Exhibit A) and study preliminary floorplan (Exhibit B) as well as exterior façade upgrade (Exhibit C).  Additional work will include painting and finishes in other areas of the building as identified during design.  All design guidelines are to follow minimum requirements identified by NC Cosmetology Board.
