Description

Mecklenburg County Asset and Facility Management will receive single prime, lump sum, sealed bids for David B. Waymer Park Improvements, until 2:00 PM, October 30, 2025, at which time bids will be opened at Valerie Woodard Center, 3205 Freedom Dr., Suite 6000, Charlotte NC.  Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds are required. NC law and applicable regulations of various licensing boards and BDI Provisions will be observed. Work will be constructed in accordance with all Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus program requirements, administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development in response to Coronavirus. The project is located at 14200 Holbrooks Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.  Scope of work includes demolition, minor grading, sidewalks and paths, a playground, a pickleball court, and planting. Mecklenburg County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Waymer Park at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 17, 2025.This information will be made available in an alternative format for persons with disabilities by calling 980-314-2428.
