Description

The City of Charlotte is seeking qualified companies to provide as-needed General Contractor Services for more than 180 municipal facilities, structures, and other assets.

Services shall include, but may not be limited to:
•	Furnishing professional consultation and analysis of a project site to determine the types and extent of repairs required;
•	Identifying and analyzing requirements to mitigate workflow and pedestrian disruptions;
•	Reviewing available data and consulting with the City to clarify and define City’s requirements; and
•	Providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervisions to perform the following:
              o Light gauge steel stud interior partitions and repair   
              o Gypsum wall board repair
              o Paint and plastic laminate finishes repair
              o Cabinetry and casework repair
              o Flooring
              o Interior and exterior building repairs
              o Door installation and repair
              o Roof repair
              o Gutter and downspout repair
              o General clean-up
              o As-needed miscellaneous construction tasks
              o As-needed Emergency work

The selected company must carry a valid North Carolina General Contractor’s License and must be capable of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and effort necessary to provide the required services. 
The License Qualifier must have at least five (5) years’ experience providing services as described in the Scope of Work.

The City reserves the right to select more than one company for award and to assign projects based on the capability of the company. 
The City also reserves the right to solicit a quote for services from one or more companies prior to assigning an individual project.
