Description

Request for Proposals (RFP) are issued to prospective vendors for financial advisory services for East Carolina University (hereinafter referred to as ECU or University). These services include services for investing a portion of available institutional trust funds into U.S. Treasury bills, notes, and bonds, to optimize the rate of return on cash balances. ECU seeks to hold the highest credit quality instruments, while limiting duration, sector, and counterparty risk.  More specifically, ECU intends to limit interest rate risk by focusing our investment efforts on shorter term holdings (generally less than 2 years).  The goal is to establish a contract with a vendor that can provide these services and present a plan for investing ECU’s available institutional trust funds.  ECU intends to establish a turnkey contract for services as described in this RFP. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFP and any addenda issued hereto. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract for East Carolina University.
