Description

PWC has begun coordinating with NCDOT in preparation for the State Transportation Improvement Project (STIP) U-6073 Fisher Road widening project. Preliminary information from NCDOT proposes a four (4) lane divided highway, with raised medians and extending the existing rights-of-way. The project corridor is developed with significant existing utilities within NCDOT right-of-way. The project corridor extends along Fisher Road from Strickland Bridge Road (SR 1104) to Bingham Drive (NC 162). Please refer to the map attachment C showing PWC’s existing utilities within the project area.
