Description

Gaston College seeks a vendor to customize, manufacture, deliver, and install a de-escalation center to be used for live-fire training by law enforcement and law enforcement trainees to practice and review scenario-based tactics in de-escalation to avoid the use of force in confrontational and/or deadly situations. The College envisions a facility with three major components: 1) Physical facility; 2) After-Action Review Camera System; 3) Hit Detection Target System.

Gaston College seeks to enhance its ability to train students in law enforcement and criminal justice training programs through the one-time purchase of a De-Escalation System to be located in Gastonia, NC. The goal of de-escalation is to reduce the likelihood of needing force or the amount of force required to resolve a potentially volatile situation.
Gaston College seeks a vendor, with a proven track record in manufacturing and assembling a high-quality live-fire training facility, to customize, manufacture, deliver, and install a de-escalation center, similar to a shoot house, to be used for live-fire training by law enforcement and law enforcement trainees to practice and review scenario-based tactics in de-escalation to avoid use of force in confrontational and/or deadly situations.
