Description

Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to obtain pricing for and procure Sierra Wireless® Model AirLink RV55 – LTE-A modems and accessories with specialized requirements for the Division of Engineering Transportation Systems and Engineering Application Development Unit of the NC Department of Transportation.  The IFB will establish an agency specific contract as permitted by 9 NCAC 6B.0701 to allow for an initial purchase of up to 400 modems, and 800 of the required accessories, and extended warranty services during a 12-month period at the sole discretion of the State.  The agency will also purchase additional products and services as needed throughout the Agreement.  The term of the awarded IFB will be for a three-year period.  
NOTE: Some items are Brand Specific.  These are listed separately with manufacturer and part numbers identified in Section 4.0 FURNISH AND DELIVER.  Some items are NOT Brand Specific but are specified as “Functionally Equivalent” to a particular manufacturer part number.
