North Carolina A&T State University operates a wide range of academic, administrative, residential, and research facilities that rely heavily on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and the proper functioning of building systems. To ensure these systems operate at peak performance and to minimize disruptions caused by mechanical failures, the University requires a structured and reliable HVAC maintenance program.
Purpose:
The purpose of this agreement is to establish a campus-wide contract with a qualified HVAC service provider to deliver comprehensive preventive maintenance, inspections, minor repairs, and emergency response services for HVAC systems across all University-owned buildings. This agreement aims to extend equipment life, improve energy efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations. The selected contractor will work in coordination with Facilities staff to maintain optimal climate control and indoor air quality for the university community.
