Description

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI), in accordance with a Federal/State Agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is responsible for the administration of Federally assisted School Nutrition Programs within the State of North Carolina. As part of this responsibility, NCDPI oversees the implementation of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).  Pursuant to the terms of this agreement and in compliance with Federal regulations at 7 CFR §225.7(e–i), NCDPI is required to conduct monitoring and administrative compliance reviews of Sponsoring Entities (SEs) that are approved to operate the SFSP.
