Description

Excavation and removal of the soil against the building elevation to waterproof the below grade
structure, and to back fill with new soil. During the removal of soil, landscaping and utilities will
need to be considered. An inspection of the building drainage system will reveal any roof leader
or foundation drain damage or malfunction. The contractor is expected to repair and replace as
needed.  Additionally, the ramped walkway to the building’s entrance forms a border of the excavation
area. This ramp will require temporary shoring to be provided by the contractor during the
waterproofing excavation.
