ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
1.1	BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
A.	Bertie County is re-advertising project to receive bids as follows
B.	Bertie County will receive sealed single prime, lump sum bids from qualified licensed Contractors until the bid time and date at the location given below for construction of “Tall Glass of Water – Phase II for Bertie County.  Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:
1.	Bid Date: April 28, 2026
2.	Bid Time:   10:00 AM local time
3.	Deliver Bids to: Bertie County Government; Tonya Davis, Clerk to the Board, 106 Dundee Street, 2nd Floor, Windsor, NC 27983
4.	Bid Opening: Bertie County Government; Commissioners Room/1st Floor 106 Dundee Street, Windsor, NC 27983
C.	Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
1.2	BID SECURITY
A.	Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
1.3	SITE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
A.	It is recommended that Prime Bidders visit the project site.  Site Address: 243 Bal Gra Road, Merry Hill, NC 27957.  Site is open to the public
1.4	DOCUMENTS
A.	PDF Bid Documents are available from the Architect of Record Frazier Architecture. Contact Project Manager Jolie Frazier Mollison at (919) 624-00398. (jolie@frazierarchitecture.com). Bid Documents will be available after April 12, 2026.
1.5	TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES
A.	Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages.
1.6	NOTIFICATION
A.	This Advertisement for Bids document is issued by Bertie County
