Description

Restoration of approximately 9,435 LF of Reedy Creek from Hood Road to Interstate 485 and restoration of approximately 3,155 LF of Reedy Creek Tributary 2 from Robinson Church Road to the confluence with Reedy Creek Main Stem in Charlotte, NC. Stream restoration measures include in-channel and floodplain grading, grading back of existing banks, placement of in-channel structures, bank stabilization, and stabilization of incoming tributaries and drainage features. Work will also include installation of erosion control measures and planting of native riparian plants in the project area.
